Phishing is an attempt to require sensitive information, such as user names, passwords and card details (and sometimes indirectly money), by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. Unfortunately, Phishing does happen to professionals such as solicitors.
We would like to reassure clients that in the event of you receiving any e-mail that may be sent purporting to be from Mackarness & Lunt, we will never contact you out of the blue and ask for payment by e-mail, your card details, pin details etc, these are likely to be phishing e-mails.
