The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) is the professional body for Chartered Legal Executives, legal practitioners, paralegals and apprentices.

Conveyancing Quality Scheme
The Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) provides a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices. Membership achievement establishes a level of credibility for member firms with stakeholders (regulators, lenders, insurers and consumers).

Resolution
Resolution’s 6,500 members are family lawyers and other professionals committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. Their members follow a Code of Practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems. Their members encourage solutions that consider the needs of the whole family – and in particular the best interests of children.

The Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists
The Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) provides support for lawyers specialising in contentious trust and probate work. Member professionals adhere to a Code of Conduct to ensure appropriate dealing with matters.

STEP is the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations. STEP promote best practice, professional integrity and education to their members. Members of STEP are subject to a Code of Professional Conduct which ensures our clients received the highest of professional standards at all times.

Solicitors for the Elderly
Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) is an independent, national organisation of over 1,500 lawyers such as solicitors, barristers and legal executives, who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.

The Notaries Society
The Notaries Society is the representative society for the 850 or so Notaries Public practising in England and Wales. Notaries are primarily concerned with the authentication and certification of signatures, authority and capacity relating to documents for use abroad.
